Istanbul International Water Forum
The Istanbul International Water Forum (IIWF) is a leading international platform dedicated to the sustainable management of water resources, aiming to enhance knowledge exchange, develop solutions to global, regional, and national challenges, and foster international cooperation.
Organised every three years, one year prior to the World Water Forum, the IIWF, hosted by Türkiye, brings together the international water community in Istanbul, making an important contribution to the global water agenda and generating impact at a worldwide scale.
The Forum convenes representatives of academia, public institutions, international organizations, civil society, and the private sector, offering a unique setting for dialogue, experience-sharing, partnership building, and policy development.
Through its focus on the sustainable use, effective governance, and societal dimensions of water resources, and discussions under the pressing themes, the Istanbul International Water Forum provides an opportunity to explore innovative technical solutions, and identify prospects for cooperation and contributes to stronger global collaboration in the water sector.
